Places to Visit

Vernazza HarbourConveniently located for visiting some of the most famous towns in Italy, Casa Appenninia is also just a 60 minute drive to the coast where you can explore sublime and traditional fishing villages seemingly untouched by time.

It is strongly recommended that visitors hire a car on arrival at Parma Airport as this will give greater freedom to enjoy this wonderfully rich and varied area. Hertz, Avis and Firefly, all have desks at Parma airport and usually offer competitive deals when booked in combination with an air ticket.  It is  also possible to hire cars and motorbikes in the village of Gotra, a few kilometers from Casa Appenninia.
